Zendala Dare #112 and Diva's Autumn Leaves #240

I have missed quite a few Zendala Dare's and thought it a little funky to black out the spaces and then draw on top of them and then felt the need to leave the white space.

I used the cut-out from my dare to make an outline to tangle.

Autumn is quite slow in Dorset again this year.  The leaves are definitely turning later in recent years with plenty of green in November and sometimes December.  So I gathered some leaves from the garden and photocopied them onto Bristol Board.

Here is the result.  I used sparkly pens and Prismalo crayons for shading.  It did not print the leaves as bright as the scan so they are more subdued.

Another black tile

Thanks for passing by and for your lovely comments.

Have a great week.

  2. That Zendala got a Wow from me as soon as I opened the blog page, fabulous. As for the leaves, am I daft to think the subtle colours of the drawing look more "natural" than the real thing? lovely work anyway.

  5. I like all you show here. The leaves are beautiful but my favorite is the cut out of the Dare. It's looks like an underwater world.
