#203 & #202 UMT & Duo Tangle

We woke up this morning to a totally unexpected winter wonderland.  Very pretty but tricky to move my car and drive to the office.  Any I waited until salt grit we put down melted the snow so I could reverse and turn uphill in our drive - it is handy being the boss sometimes!

This weeks UMT challenge is the tangle Athitzi which can be used to make interesting tonal areas in a differnt way to Tipple.

Duo tangle challenge
Last week I played around with Chebucto which is a new tangle to me - Copada is a firm favourite.  I decided I would like to make a circle of Chebucto and used a black 6 inch square tile for my circle.  Any I completely lost the plot or too much zen and not enough concentration so the connecting lines were all over the place.  Here is the result after a few more drawings.

Thanks for passing by and your lovely comments.  Please go and look at the other entries here.

  1. I agree, Athitzi really works well for tonal areas and gives a much different look. Nice tile!

  3. I like the way you used Athitzi in your tile. This morning it is a white world here (in the Netherlands) too, quite unexpected. I do like the sight of it, but not that I can't go on my bicycle today!
