Diva's challenging duo tangle #185

These seemed very unlikely bedfellows and I admit to it requiring some thought before starting.  I used a 4 inch square to give me enough space and ended up with plenty of white space.

I started it last night and when I looked at it today I decided that a little more shading and no more tangling was in order.

Then which way up!

Thanks for passing by and your lovely comments again last week.  Go and have a look at other entries on the Diva's website.  Have a lovely week

  1. You are right about this - it's the white space that lets the patterns show to best advantage. Your shading is especially good. Very nice tile.

  4. Great work. Looks like a very interesting creature. Hope I never run into it, looks like an tropical insect.... Your shading is great, and yes as they say less is more. The white space gives the piece a great balance.
